Charlie Le Mindu Returns To Paris Couture With Skins — A Radical Exploration of Body, Hair, and Visibility

PARIS, FRANCE (January 29, 2026) – After a decade away from the runway, Charlie Le Mindu returns to Paris Couture Week with SKINS, a performance-driven couture presentation that reclaims the body as material, presence, and power. Presented by Pornhub, the one-night-only event confronts fashion’s relationship to desire, visibility, and autonomy in an increasingly regulated digital age.

Known for his transgressive use of human hair and his boundary-blurring approach to fashion, performance, and fetish, Le Mindu’s practice over the past ten years has extended into opera, ballet, music, and live art: from Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo to Doja Cat’s Coachella performance. That time away from the traditional fashion system became a laboratory, deepening his relationship to the body and sharpening his material language.

At the core of SKINS is a radical shift: away from body positivity and toward body visibility.

The collection uses real human hair as its primary material, not as ornament, but as structure, surface, and architecture. Hair becomes a second skin. Each silhouette holds tension between control and release, intimacy and distance, strength and vulnerability. The body is not corrected or softened. It is amplified.

Sexuality in SKINS is deliberate rather than performative. Sensuality is fully inhabited, not staged for approval. The work rejects the idea that empowerment must be desexualized to be taken seriously, insisting instead on autonomy: the right to be desired without belonging to anyone.

“This show is about visibility: Who controls it, who profits from it, and who gets to decide how they’re seen,” says Charlie Le Mindu. “Fashion has always been erotic. Working with Pornhub allows me to support a space where bodies aren’t filtered through fear, but shown as real, complex, and autonomous.”

The collaboration places the presentation at the center of ongoing global conversations around censorship, online regulation, and freedom of expression. To further highlight these values, the show will feature Pornhub brand ambassadors Natassia Dreams and Queenie Sateen modeling unique pieces. Rather than avoiding controversy, SKINS engages it directly, using couture as a mirror to contemporary culture.

"We are thrilled to support Charlie Le Mindu’s groundbreaking return to fashion, also making Pornhub’s first presence at Haute Couture Week. Charlie’s experience as a former sex worker brings authenticity and depth to his work, making this collaboration especially meaningful. Our collaboration isn’t just about exposure, rather about individuals choosing how they are seen and defining their own boundaries. Here, sensuality is expressed with confidence and autonomy, not for external approval. At Pornhub, we champion free expression, and we’re proud to help bring this visionary show to life" says Alex Kekesi, Vice President of Brand and Community, Pornhub.

Material choices follow the same conviction. All looks are crafted entirely from real human hair, treated with restraint in neutral and nude tones developed by Charlie himself. Scent becomes part of the experience through a collaboration with Byredo, giving each piece its own sensory identity.

The presentation will feature custom couture looks, live performance, and immersive staging. Attendance will be limited, with editors, artists, and cultural figures expected from across fashion, art, and media.

In a season defined by heritage and tradition, SKINS stands apart, asking whether couture can still challenge, provoke, and tell the truth about the body.
