We want to keep you informed about an exciting update regarding access to Pornhub and other sites on the Pornhub Network in the United Kingdom. Thanks to a newly rolled out device-based solution, we are excited to welcome age-verified iOS users in the UK back to Pornhub.
What’s Changing?
As of May 5, 2026, age-verified iOS users and Models in the UK will once again be able to access Pornhub. New Models based in the UK who have age-verified with iOS can once again sign up for the Model Program. If you’re already a verified Pornhub Model, you can keep uploading and sharing your content as usual.
How Does it Work?
Apple recently rolled out a new update, iOS 26.4, which adds certain parental controls in the UK for kids, teens, and adults who have not confirmed their age. This update limits access to adult websites automatically. Pornhub believes children using updated Apple devices in the UK are arguably benefitting from the strongest protections currently available on the market.
Unverified users in the UK will see a new safe-for-work homepage featuring interviews, podcasts, and more. By uploading SFW content, you can continue to earn income and as always, link to your own external sites.
Is This a Good Change?
Yes! For years, Pornhub has advocated for device-based solutions as the most effective method to protect minors online and preserve sensitive user data. This means users only get verified once, through their operating system, not on each age-restricted site. This dramatically reduces privacy risks and creates a very simple process for regulators to enforce. This is a big step for online safety that we fully support.
